Make Every Day Count

Make Every Day Count

If you ever feel as if life is becoming too much for you to handle and you can’t go on, PLEASE know that the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline can help. 1-800-273-8255  https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org

We are all here for a purpose. We all encounter good and bad days. What matters most is that we make every day count. There is so much more to life than going to a job and paying bills. Of course those two things must be done, but there is more to life than those two things.

There are many ways that we all can make every day count, but I’m going to share with you three ways that are not complicated at all!

Three Ways To Make Every Day Count

  1. Emotionally Support Yourself! Some of us love greeting people. We love saying hi and asking someone how their day is going and the famous “How are you doing?” Do you ever ask yourself, “Self, how am I doing?” We need to take time and ask ourselves how are we doing and if our day is going okay. Sometimes we have a “bad” day because we never address the issues that are going on within ourselves.
  2. Learn Something New! Learning new things allows us to expand our thought process. It gives us an outlook on something different. You may think that you don’t have time to learn something new, but there are so many different things that you could learn to do. Learn how to cook a new recipe that you always wanted to try. Learn a new time saving technique or learn how to do something that you have always wanted to do.
  3. Place A Penny In The Jar! You will literally and figuratively make your days count by doing this one. Get you a jar (use a mason jar or your moonshine jar, it doesn’t matter which)! Every day you wake up, place one penny inside the jar. (You may rather use a quarter or a dollar each day. It doesn’t even have to be money, it could be a toothpick or cotton swab. You choose what you would like to use.) At the end of the year, count what you placed inside the jar (if you used money, that’s an added bonus)!

Feel free to share how you make each day count or share other ways that we all can make each day count!

“After I initially commented I seem to have clicked the Notify me when new comments are added checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the exact same comment. Perhaps there is a way you are able to remove me from that service? Thanks a lot!”
